ENSURE DURABILITY

MAZEJO CARE GUIDE

At Mazejo, we care about the quality and longevity of our pieces. Knowing how to properly wash and dry them is key to maintaining that quality and ensuring they keep their original shape over time. That's why we're sharing some tips to help you preserve your Mazejo pieces. Not only will you keep your clothes looking fabulous, but you'll also be doing your part to reduce electricity and water consumption, promoting more sustainable practices.

WASHING CARE

We want your Mazejo pieces to stay beautiful for longer. That’s why we recommend using gentle spin cycles when washing your garments. This not only reduces fabric wear but also minimizes the release of microfibers, contributing to a lower environmental impact.

TURN INSIDE OUT BEFORE WASHING

One last important tip: before placing your pieces in the washing machine, remember to turn them inside out. This simple practice helps protect the fabric and ensures your garments maintain their original quality wash after wash.

AIRING OUT VS. WASHING

Did you know that frequent washing can cause premature wear? Opt to air out your pieces outdoors whenever possible instead of washing them constantly. If needed, a good brushing can restore their fresh and renewed appearance.

CAREFUL DRYING

When drying your garments, avoid using the dryer. Instead, lay them flat to dry to prevent shrinkage and preserve the fabric’s integrity. This simple choice not only saves energy but also helps keep your pieces in great condition for longer.

PILLING PREVENTION

To prevent pilling, a simple tip is to turn your garments inside out before washing. If pilling has already occurred, you can easily remove it with an electric fabric shaver. This way, you preserve the appearance and quality of your pieces for longer.

Fabric Care Guide: Satin, Viscose, and Polyester

SATIN FABRICS:

To care for satin pieces, Mazejo recommends hand washing with cold water and a gentle detergent. Avoid twisting or vigorously rubbing the fabric. To dry, lay the pieces on a clean, dry towel, avoiding direct sunlight. We do not recommend using a dryer or spin cycle. When ironing, set the iron to the lowest temperature and avoid direct steam on the fabric.

VISCOSE:

Viscose should be hand washed with cold water without twisting. To dry, simply hang the pieces in their natural shape, avoiding the use of a dryer. When ironing, use the lowest temperature setting and the iron's steam function.

POLYESTER:

Polyester can be machine washed, but always use a gentle cycle and cold water to avoid fabric damage. Avoid twisting or vigorously rubbing. To dry, hang the pieces to dry naturally or lay them on a clean, dry towel. Avoid using a dryer and do not iron at high temperatures to prevent fabric damage.

These instructions will help preserve the quality and appearance of your satin, viscose, and polyester pieces, ensuring they stay beautiful for longer.
